Re: J&W BCR 2 3&5 volt boards

Question on J&W BCR 2, I have MTH Locomotives PS2 that have 3 and 5 volt boards. Some had the Blue AA wrapped batteries with the plug and others had the Green AAA Wrapped batteries with a plug. Will the J&W BCR 2 work for 3 and 5 volt boards and take the place of the Blue AA and Green AAA batteries by MTH and not harm the locomotives. Only one locomotive I have is the original proto sound with a 9V battery. I changed that to a J&W BCR 9V
