This set is new to me, but I’d like to investigate kicking the end of train lighting up more than a notch.  Anyone do this?  If so, how did you light the three aspects, and was the end result worth the effort?  Any problems to watch out for?  I have done this modification to other observation cars using Stan2004’s method, which worked well, but this car has an interior and “streamlighting” which may force a change in method.  Any advice out there?  Thx in advance.

Thx guys, got a handle on led sources.  Was looking at methods of install.  Discovered burned out grain of wheat bulb for EOT white light, so that was replaced with a 3mm led.  Problem with the red marker lights is that they are just blobs of plastic formed into a lens pegged to each side of the car(see pic).  Any suggestions other than to bore a hole through car wall and into red lens(each side I guess) 4 holes, then glue in a nano or pico led into the hole?   Wonder if they will be too bright!?  Those little leds put out a lot of light.  Welcome any and all ideas. Won’t go further till I have a good plan.
