I bought a Polar Express set last week at a good price.  The one minor defect is that one of the linkages to the simulated piston driver has a missing pivot fastener.  See attached photo.  I have temporarily repaired this with a very short piece of wire but this is tricky since both linked pieces have to rotate 360 degrees on each other.  The particular rod shown has no functional purpose, so I could remove it entirely, but I'd really rather repair it.  What pivot point fastener would be used for a permanent repair, and where would I obtain one?  I have worked on many postwar Lionel trains but this is the first steam engine I've owned and never had to repair one of these linkages before.
