The Greenberg's guide lists two variations of the size of the "GM" decal. Mine measures 3/16 X 1/4 inch. Seems pretty small. Is that the small one or the larger? Thank you in advance for any information.

Another guide says that the larger GM decal was placed on the cab side, below the number, and that the smaller decal is always found on the hood, near the nose. So... according to that description, you have a small decal 622.
Great! Thank you both for the quick response - exactly what I wanted.
As a added note the 1950 version of the 622 and 6220 had several changes made, instead of
the driving axles machined of special magnetic material as in 1949 the motor trucks in 1950 had externally cemented magnets with non magnetic SS axles, other changes added weight to the frame, redesigned motor that used a ball thrust bearing assembly along with a change
in the motor casting to improve the seating and its alignment.
\ 1949 motor # 622-100
/ 1950 motor# 622-100X
Can be seen on page 61 in greenbergs repair and operating manual.
Have the 6220 they are great pullers and smooth quiet runners.
