I purchased it in 2004, unfortunately due to numerous life challenges, I didn't have a layout operating, and never took it, nor any of my other trains, out of their cartons.
I finally started building my "last layout" 2 - 3 years ago and unpacked and stated up the EM-1. Great Railsounds, TMCC, everything works without issue... NOTE: The drive shaft slipping problem at the flex coupling has been repaired.
Needs to find a good home.... I still don't have a full operating loop so I don't think I have ran it more than a couple hours up and back on a 50 foot section of main line. Includes original box, manual and the Lionel corrugated outer shipping carton.
