Lionel Dash 8/9?

The last time Lionel made these there was talk on here about how these are a mishmash of details from both the dash 8 and 9. I know they put the shell on a 4 wheel truck it's a Dash 8. Put it on a 6 wheel truck its a Dash 9. I don't think it's actually ever been said what details are wrong. I know the one long vent on the engineer side is right for the 8. Could someone tell me what's wrong and right? Thank you for any information.
