Lionel released this in 2009 and 2014 with LEGACY. The 2009 model is number 11212, and the 2014 model is 11454.
Lionel will be releasing another version later this year, number 84687.

These can be preordered for $1349.
They have an eta of July '18. They might not reach the purchaser until mid August, provided the schedule doesn't get pushed back further.
Do the dealers charge your credit card now or at the time of delivery?
Some dealers require a deposit.
Many do not, and only charge your cc when it ships. I.e. Charles Ro and Mr. Muffin name a couple. There are others.

TH, if you’re on the fence, go for it! These are great engines. I have the 2014 release and have preordered the similar #757 from the 2017v2 catalog. An added bonus is you don’t need huge curves for it. Mine runs great on 054 (although bigger is still better if you have the space).
