The set is an excellent representation of the 50's NYC set.  It runs very well.  The electronic horn and bell are fine.  The only problem is that on some sets one of the A units (I think the dummy A.) leans down to the rear.  I have read it is an easy fix, like a washer or something.

The best part about it is to me, the NYC F3's in the set are be closest to the original stripe and paint wise that I have ever seen.  All the other NYC releases over the years all had white stripes that were just a little too thick compared to the 50's engines.

BTW, these were Conventional Classics, not PWC.  PWC engines usually come with TMCC electronics, the CC sets did not have TMCC.

I owned a Lionel 2344 NYC set when I was a kid, to me this was the first set that looked good enough to buy.  I'm very happy with it leaning diesel and all.
