I recently purchased a MIB Lionel 6-28036 Southern Pacific Consolidation http://www.lionel.com/products...dation-2685-6-28036/
I had originally planned on purchasing a conventional version and preforming a PS3 upgrade on it. I ended up getting the TMCC version for a steal instead. Being that it is TMCC I'm going to keep it that way, as I run both DCS and TMCC. I plan on adding a ERR Cruise Commander M, Supper Chuffer, Chuff Generator, and fan driven smoke unit to the Consolidation. I have a couple of questions though:
1. Will the Supper Chuffer and Chuff Generator fit in the boiler? The Consolidation, while scale size, is rather small.
2. Does anyone have a smoke unit suggestion? I have a couple MTH PS2 smoke units. I tried seeing if one would fit but it's slightly too long and hits the motor driver board in the boiler. Does Lionel make a smaller smoke unit that will work in this locomotive?
