I have a NOS Lionmaster Challenger (6-38093). All Challenger reference manuals refer to an overlay for the tmcc remote. Mine did not come with an overlay. Where can I get one?

I think it is the same format and button allocations as any other TMCC steam locomotive. Do you have other overlays?
Nice engine by the way, I have one. Only issue is no puffing smoke. Good candidate for grj's Super Chuffer!

Double-check the inside of your instruction manual -- sometimes the small mylar overlay was placed inside the booklet.

I have no other overlays. I was going to sell this engine but I have taken a liking to it lately. It was NOS about 6 years ago. I was a poor puffer and well out of warranty when I took it to a local Lionel repair station (since moved to about 75 miles away). He goosed the smoke unit for about 52 dollars. It is my only tmcc engine (running Legacy Lite). The remote does work on the new remote only crane which is one really neat toy. The crane loads Mr Solo's car into the bed of Oddjob's Ford truck!
Lionel still has them, but after a while the buttons are basically the same for all engines. Here is a part number for a Railsounds 5 steamer. Others avail.

Flat rate shipping from Lionel will have that small piece of plastic costing you $10 or $12.
Change your title to: "TMCC Overlay Wanted".
Maybe someone will drop one in an envelope for you. With Legacy now 9 years old, someone has to have an extra one they're not using
In the meantime. I'll check the boxes of my TMCC steamers and see if I still have one. I'd gladly mail it to you FREE of charge.
I already gave away the few I was using before I upgraded to legacy years ago.
