Thought that I would start early, just as the April 2022 meet has closed. Would have been there except that my ride companion has fallen off the face of the earth. I am from Brooklyn, NY. Looking to hitch a ride for a one day trip next October. No harm in starting early.

Dang, I wish I lived near you. My friend who I used to travel with to York doesn't go anymore due to health problems. I live in central NJ. It would sure be nice to have some company along for the ride.
Isn't there a bus group from the NYC area that goes down for a day trip? I know that there used to be a bus group that went down from the NYC area every York, I believe on Fridays. Unfortunately, I don't live in the area, but I happened to meet some of the group prior to the York show several years ago.
Dates are posted, he must mean it. This is a pretty old group... how good is a promise of a ride 18 months out? LOL

That bus trip no longer exists due to cost.

That's a little out of my way Dennis. 
I'd have to drive about 4-5 extra hours on top of my hour and a half trip to York. 
I guess Uber is out of the question... 
I live in the north west corner of NJ and it takes 3 hours 20 minutes for me. I've thought about trying to find someone too.
The only issue is finding a like-minded person that wants to go on the same schedule and stay at the same hotel. I guess I'm still an independent cuss that needs my own car.
