What is the best way to tighten up a binding post?? I have Greenberg's Repair Manual, but it doesn't address this issue...

I've had some success crimping them with a pair of pliers and a nut against the binding post on the crimped side. If that doesn't work they sell replacement binding posts that have a nut to for attaching.

Thanks for the information guys!! I have a small anvil I use at times.. It has a small hole in it, about the size of the threaded part of the binding post.. I put it in there and hit the back side with a punch.. It tightened right up!! The original one looks like the one on the left of the picture.. It was in good shape except for being a bit loose.. Like bmoran4 said, if the post had been in poor shape the replacement repair screw on the right is the way to go!!
