Does anyone know if the M&STL Baldwin Switcher has shipped to dealers yet? (6-48165) According to Lionel's shipping schedule it was to ship in August. Has anyone seen this item yet?

Didn't they change the drivetrain on the Baldwin to an upright motor like with the Geep? I have the Southern Baldwin set and it has a "made over" Gilbert design but with a can motor.

Yes. My PRR Baldwin is configured with an arrangement that is similar in kind to the GP's (and PA's). Runs pretty well. This is a revised configuration that is different from the early L-AF Baldwin reissues.
