The book price range on set 4222 is $30.00-55.00. There is nothing in the set that is not pretty common. Even though the book is old, I find it reasonably accurate with the exception of sets with hard to find or rare pieces. Not seeing the sides of the cars and not knowing how well it operates, I would suggest a value somewhere in the middle and that also seems consistent with my observations of e-bay sales.

It is about 50 miles from me, or I probably would too. Like I said, I am not a 3 railer or collector, but this might make a decent around the Christmas tree train. I really want a G scale for that though. A few months ago when I wasn't really considering it, I was seeing G scale sets on Craigs for cheap about every day, now I haven't seen one in a month, on my side of town anyways.
