Many people need replacement wagon wheels due to "Zinc Pest". I have made a 3D drawing (.STL) of the large wheel and would like someone to try to make a part on a 3D printer. If you would like to help with this project send me an email and I will send you the file. If this works out I will make a drawing of the small wheel. I found these plastic wheels and have used them on the McCoy wagons: large wheel and small wheel.
The large size is just about perfect. The smaller wheel is a tad bigger diameter than the McCopy original, but close enough for me. They are inexpensive if you only need a set or two.

If someone has a good example I can potentially make a cast and reproduce out of pewter.

3D printers and CADS are the death of the pattern maker. But so much more exact. I am trying to cast out of pewter, but same mold can be used for resin casting. I have mold made for large wheel, and starting to tweek for air traps, etc.
Nice replacements are listed on eBay.
