ROGER and others.  I am having trouble with the 8 pin connector between the engine and the tender.  I believe there is something wrong where the draw bar connects to the engine under the cab area.  Every now and then the engine will stop running.  However the sound continues.  I first thought it was the connection onto the tender but now I believe it to be the connection to the engine.  If I push up on the draw bar under the cab it will start running again for a while, but doesn't stay connected.

I contacted tech support once before about a different issue and never got a reply.  So I wonder if it is worth contacting them again about this problem.

I also had issues with only one truck in the tender having pickups on it.  So I added and additional pickup on the front tender truck to see if that will help.  But I still have the draw bar issue so not sure what to do.

Thanks

Make sure connector on engine side is fully seated into drawbar.  Check continuity of draw bar.  May have cold solder joint at pin.  Same on tender side and fully seated.

If that is not it, shells need to come off to ensure wire terminals fully seated in the plastic connector and no wire is damaged.  G
