I like how MTH has painted the window surrounds on their passenger cars as it visually elimates the thick plastic edge between the car body and the window. However, on the lounge car car you will notice that they only painted the vertical window seal and not the entire frame. If you have a set is this how yours was painted? Has anyone painted the window frames on older versions of these cars?

Pete, below is my Lounge Car, and I guess it's pretty close to yours. To be honest I didn't even notice it. These are incredible looking cars and have become one of my favorites. I have the 4 pack and the 2 pack as well. I just wish they would have offered another lounge or another car with the skylight windows.
Look at a photo of a real sightseer and what they’ve done is about as close as they can get in a single piece of plastic. The roof window has a shiny metal seal plate surrounding the window, with the black window surround under it. It doesn’t translate very well to plastic, but what they’ve done is reasonably accurate.

Thanks for posting a photo of your lounge car! We have the same set and it looks like they are painted the same around the windows. I too like how these cars look, but I will try and paint the window area when I get the time.
I picked up all 7 cars in this offering and have the same thoughts as you regarding MTH offering more or different cars in the sets. One more sleeper at the least would be ideal for me.
