Mth DCS and Atlas track

Brand new to O and I am planning on buying an MTH DCS system and using Atlas 3 rail track.

Question:
Can the Atlas switches be wired to an AIU with the existing switch machine to operate via the remote? I've watched Eric's track video, which is great, but the demo uses the included momentary button and I need to throw it via the remote. Any advice or thoughts would be appreciated.

I currently have only the MTH DCS system and Atlas switches wired to their #56 controllers. The future plan is to add an AIU and wire it per the drawing gunrunnerjohn posted above.

Gunrunner, thanks for the pdf. can I just omit the connection to the momentary button switch? Seems like I would be missing something if I did.

Looks like you can leave the switch and it's wires out totally. If you don't have the signal board, you can leave those out as well. All you need is the wiring to the AIU ports.
