Go into settings on your iPhone and ensure that your iPhone is indeed connected to the MTH WIU. As soon as you lose the connection (like powering down the WIU), your iPhone will revert back to any other Wi-Fi connection that you have enabled. I started with the MTH Wi-Fi, but soon after encountering what you are experiencing, I connected the WIU to my home network.

How is the WIU connected? Are the cables good? Have you followed the connect instructions? What lights are on steady?

What version of software is inside the WIU? The first release had software bugs.

What version of DCS is inside the TIU? You need the latest version to insure proper function. Old versions won't work with the WIFI app.

Does your DCS system work fully? Have you done a signal strength test of your layout?

after you get things working...

Checking track signal strength is done using a MTH engine and selecting the engine first with your remote.

The track signal test is under the following if you can't find the softkey for it:

menu: System: track signal should get a reading of 1 to 10. 10 is perfect. if it's lower than 1 it may say "out of range" or similar.

I've found that if the track signal is bad, the app may say "no TIU found" when trying to do things.
