I want to use my TPC300 to walk around the layout when controlling conventional trains and the transformer controls also when my son runs trains.  I think the easiest way of doing this is to have a toggle switch between using the TPC and transformer control.

Maybe I am just having a brain fart or been to busy and brain is fried from work but can someone help me figure out a wiring diagram for this.  I want just once single toggle switch.  I am thinking a pair of relays would work.

Thank you for your help with this.

I do know my TPC can control my conventional trains and that is how I run them now.  The issue is my 3 year old has a hard time with the cab 2 but has mastered using the transformer handle. When he wants to run his trains on daddy's layout I want him to be able to use the transformer handles.

Right now I have a MRC transformer hooked up to the TPC.

I agree and like the toggle's manual simplicity Rob but I guess the BPC module advantages changeover from TPC to ZW via the handheld Cab 1[or 2].

I have a couple of BPCs stored somewhere from a dismantled layout. I used them to temporarily switch power[via Cab 1] to a single transformer source when my engine pickups were in separate districts upon crossing over the center rail gap between the two districts or tracks].

On my little simplistic "old folks" layout I changed all 17 of my Ross/Tortoise track switches from ASC modules and Cab 1 operation, over to manual on/on toggles. I can glance at the orientation of the toggle handle and instantly know the switch position...out or thru.[see hi-tech control panel].
