Can someone provide a few photos of the inside of some painted coal hoppers (no stainless steel please)? I weathered two Weaver Conrail 70-tons to look like fresh repaints, I know the insides get dirty almost immediately, but I can't find any good reference photos on Google. Help!

From what I have seen the the painted steel hopper end slope sheets, intermediate slope sheets and wing sheets(sheets sloped downward from car side sill to form opposite discharge hopper walls) are longitudinally scrapped(wear patterns) to bare metal and rusted from the flow of coal through the discharge gates, the car interior steel sides will have areas of rusting where the painted is worn away during the coal loading. You can do a web search for interior steel coal car hopper coal abrasive wear patterns then choosing images.
