Here is my new trolley line from both sides.  I had a short spur line on a high shelf that wasn't being used for much of anything.  In another post, Adriatic suggested I convert it.  That spur is very hard for me to reach, but I am now able to run 9 separate trains at the same time.  Two MTH, two conventional, three LCP, and these two bump and go's.

You'll notice my improvised bumper in the second video.  Since the down-slope is so steep, I cut a foam sanding block that I never use, to soften the impact.  It's hardly prototypical, but neither is most of this toy train layout.  The 027 trolley line has been there for years.  I love my trains!

I took these videos with my phone and just uploaded them directly, with no youtube link.  First time this way.  I hope they are clear enough.

M,

If you mean the trolleys, the two lines are not connected in any way.  The long one runs down a water pipe and was done to disguise the pipe and add interest.  The short, steep line ends much lower than the pipe and before the second level Union Pacific line which is perpendicular to it.

If you mean the other trains, all are carefully screwed down and pass each other with more space than real trains on parallel tracks do.  Only the highest level has two trains on the same track.  Those are both LCP's.  The remote is pretty good at keeping the speed constant for both trains.  The third LCP has it own dedicated track, and utilizes reversing loops at each end.
