And maybe an update on how RPO shells will be dealt with. I have been reluctant to purchase one without knowing the course of action.

Those PE trailers on flats were in the Charles Ro email blast from yesterday, or maybe day before. However, not sure if they are actually in stock?

They answered me in an email that new shells are being made and should be available late spring.  I neglected and they didn't offer how this exchange would happen.  In the past they would have you return the shell and then send back the new one or you could buy the new shell and keep both.

I was excited at first then saw many items are not in stock yet. I havent given Lionel any of my money lately, waiting for the Hobo cars, PE trailers ps-5, 0-6-0t's and possibly RPO. Not the end of the world but I am a big kid this time of year!

Hopefully the black roof hobo cars will be shipping too..

I guess these will be here for next year.  I know some of these delays are out of Lionel's hands.  If this was a non covid year I'd be more upset but I think they're doing a pretty good job getting product out considering.
