Phasing

I have two postwar ZWs and have gotten them phased correctly - lots of good stuff out there on how to do, easy. When I am done, should I leave a wire connecting common terminals on each of the transformers, or just run the commons from out to to the individual circuits I am creating throughout my layout ?

And yes I adding circuit breakers and TVS on those circuits following the instructions from Dale H and others on this forum.

I would leave the commons connected (U connections). WE have 8 ZW s at 4 different locations and run a heavy wire joining the U connections on each ZW.. Our layout is TMCC and DCS. Runs great.

Yep 10 amp 32 volt fast blow fuses here.

I run 2 different Post War transformers together. I keep the commons connected. However, a word of caution 'U' is not necessarily common across different types of transformers. If you are using just ZW's, there is no need to worry about this.
