Hi guys I hope you can give me some ideas about the problems with this engine. It has three problems:

It has no sounds at all. No horn, bell, motor, cab chatter, or coupler sounds. There isn't any static. No sound at all
The pantographs do not work properly. If I pull either pantograph up manually, it will go down when I push the direction button on the DCS remote, but the pantograph on the other end will not rise up.
Every time track power is turned off and then turned back on again, the display in the DCS remote says engine not on track. The engine has to be deleted from the system and then re-added anytime the power is turned back on to the track. The engine runs fine in forward and reverse and is very smooth and all lights function properly. Using the MTH charger, I charged the 2.4volt battery approximately 22 hours. I am at a loss as to what is causing all these problems. What is the worst case scenario money wise to fix all the issues? And any ideas as to who could fix it properly would also be a help. Thanks.

For a starter I would do a factory reset. It’s a free fix; if it works.

I did a factory reset and a feature reset. There was no change after these resets. Thanks
