Re: program a ta eob with legacy hand held

When I try and program a speed step change with the legacy handheld I press eng number then direction, then aux1+aux1+aux1 and then your are to press the number 2 but the handheld has changed keypad to icons and changing it back to numbers erasses the former comands and nothing happens. How do I over come this?

go into the Info and set the engine ID you are trying to use to CAB instead of TMCC or Legacy, the numbers will stay on the touchpad.
