Not a problem, just a curiosity. I'm well accustomed to PS2 engines clicking when cycling through reverse/forward, power on, etc, etc, etc. I've got two PS3 engines, a Dash 8 and an 0-6-0. I noted the 0-6-0, a 2012 model, does not click at all (runs fine). The Dash 8 clicks each time the reverse unit is cycled, 10 seconds after cutting power, turning on power, etc. It was one of the first with PS3 and one of a few cataloged at the time with PS3. Was there some change in the boards to eliminate the "click"?

As I understand it, if 0-6-0 is PS3 with a wireless drawbar the relay is located in the engine/boiler.  Whereas for most PS2 steamers the relay was in the tender.  I suppose based on how it is mounted in the engine/boiler, the direction cycling click may not be as profound.
