i’d like to get the meaning of the term “pull high”. Hear it used on the radio but cannot find a good definition anywhere on the web. Only found one usage of it by an engineer on another forum, but he did not define it.

I haven’t been able to get it from the context. Best that I can guess that it means to pull past a switch or maybe a signal or both, so that a reverse move can be made on a different track.

i know there are enough actual railroaders on here that can put me straight. Hopefully I will not be belittled the way I most likely would be on another forum that shall remain nameless (Trainorders). 😎
