The first two things I would suggest that you do are:

• Ensure that the tether is securely plugged in
• Check if there's something binding the gears, such as a thrown traction tire.

Besides the Tether issue, which you can wiggle to seem if it effects the symptoms, I would ensure the pickups and wheels are clean, including inside the rollers.  If still an issue make sure the motor leads are not touching or shorting to ground/frame/motor.  Though this also makes the motor want to run on its own.  G

I had a recent experience, the traction tire broke and was all tangled up.

Thanks to my forum Buddies. I took the Consolidation apart and found a stray piece of what appears to be wire insulation that was caught up in the wheels. I found no place where it looked like it might have come from so I assume it to be stray. I reseated the tether and fired her up. Running like a champ! Thanks to all.
