Thanks for the info. I went ahead and ordered some bulbs on the MTH website, and the PCB, just in case. Love the tower, but just want to have those extra parts on hand.

Have another question, though- how does that red cap come off? I'm assuming that has to come off to UNSCREW the threaded 6 volt bulb?? Is it just a matter of getting a thin flat blade screw driver in there and "popping" it off?

I notice there is some kind of retainer inside the cap that I'm assuming secures the threaded socket in.  I'm hoping NOT because that looks like I would need a LONG needle nose pliers to get it off!

What am I missing here?
