Hello all,
I have a railsounds commander I would like to install in my powered TMCC f-3 b-unit. (6-24563) It has a little motherboard, according to the
rs commander diagram I need a serial data wire to the commander. Is it possible to pick it up off of the little mother board or a direct connection to the radio board? I attached a photo of the little board. there is a pin marked serial that goes to the DCDR.

I believe you should be able to splice into the yellow wire that is connected to the motherboard "serial" wire. Watch when testing - if the loco loses control over the speed (can run away) then you will need a buffer circuit (available at ElectricRR) to make the serial connection.

It worked! The only thing I need to look into are the engine sounds and how they increase of decrease, seems to be off.

The engine rev up and rev down commands should come from the motors themselves. You need motor power to the railsounds board. Do you have the instructions? They can be downloaded from the ERR website.
