I'm thinking of taking the plunge on the ZW-L. I've wanted a modern ZW since ordering and taking home a ZW-C some dozen+ years ago but returning it shortly thereafter because of issues with handles and backwards wiring.
I'd like to hear what folks who recently purchased one thought of the build quality on this most recent batch from overseas?
Is there a comprehensive set of tests I could run upon receipt to insure everything is functioning correctly?

I moved to a new location & started having problems using my ZWC on my Legacy Layout! I bit the bullet and purchased a new ZWL. No more problems ! It is a great Xformer. I have used it on Conventional, TMCC & Legacy Engines w/NO Problems. A fine Unit! Great job by Lionel ! I understand there was input in the development by Lou K, Jon Z & even Neil Young! They did a good job !!!
