Ok, made some great progress on the layout this past two weeks, fixing stuff that hasn't been operated in 5 years or so. I have two triple action Gantry Cranes, both converted to TMCC using a TAS Utac-C board. One functions normally, but the other one has bad rubber bands in the transmissions. Seems they took a set and stretched out from inactivity. So the question is can I find replacement drive rubber bands that are more like traction tires or should I try to find an appropriately sized O-Ring as a substitute? Any one have experience with this?
Buying a pair of new transmissions is silly, since the new ones may have the same problem.
Again, Thanks in Advance!

Thanks for the responses. Last VCR shop in my area (That I'm aware of) closed last year. Bob, I'll check Ace tomorrow. Any idea what department they are located in?
In the meantime I kind of answered my own question by using a pair of large traction tires to temporarily fix the 2 boxes. Works like a charm!
Thanks all. This is what I love about this Forum.
