I have two sets of RMT A-A Beefs. I'm thinking of using them to pull seperate four car sets of Lionel Baby Madisons. One set of Baby Madisons is from the mid 70s-plastic bodies with plastic trucks. The other set is plastic bodies with diecast trucks.

Is this doable?

You can try it but I think you are right in the edge. The AA has only one unit powered. If you picked up the matching powered B unit it would be no problem.

You could add some weight to the BEEF to aid with it's pulling power. I've found a little weight in my BEEPs does wonders for their pulling power.
