Run 335 - Battery Power: Access vs. Appearance

Great plan. Does the on off switch have a light indicator?  I mounted in my lionel GP30 and GP35 a three position toggle switch in the fan cavity but never thought of putting the charger jack there also. I am not sure if there would be enough room using the three position switch in one fan cavity but I could use 2 fan cavities. 

Thanks @Bill Grafmiller.  I like to put a light on the outside of the engine, typically a ground light to help remind me power is on or off.

Is this set up going in the kitbashing project ? If so you said u were having a few issues with the process. Did u resolve that issue? Like to see how u are doing with it.

Kitbashing the extended cab and rear porch I thought would be the hardest part.  They were both pretty easy. 

I've been having a hard time with paint as you can see from my pics above.  Painted twice.  Just stepped it down again and will paint a third time.

Do u use a good modeling paint. I have been using Tamiya with good results.

I use Tamiya and Tru-Color.   But in my desire to get an exact color match, I used a spray can paint from Tractor Supply.   I harvested it and ran it through the airbrush, but the results were poor.  Lesson learned.
