Running Lionel Legacy thru MTH | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

Forum newbie with all-MTH/DCS wants to start acquiring some Lionel locos - can latest Lionel Legacy controller be "piggybacked" into the MTH TIU & thereby run both Lionel & MTH on same track - reliably? Would use respective remote controllers for Lionel & MTH locos.

A lot of this is covered in the DCS Forum, but yes you can use them both together just fine

Best way is to run them as separate systems which sounds like what you are planning to do. However you can use the MTH DCS to Legacy cable to tie them both together. This will allow you to control the basic TMCC functions (not the Legacy ones) using the DCS controller
