...in case there's any interest.

UP #1400, next to the previous NYC #2401:

2 Fs #2

2 Fs #1

Both have the large Pittman motor with (2) geared axles and (2) driven by flexible "bands".

Also got the matching UP B unit, but haven't really looked into assembling it just yet.

I’ve only seen ads that show undecorated  shells - looks like they were choosing the large roads (can factory painted  Pennsylvania and Santa Fe shells be lurking in the wild)?

According to the NASG website, I believe these are the only 2 road names the F9 came in.

I do have a couple of the "New River Models" F bodies; one is undecorated and the other is in the Monon scheme. They have the flush-type number boards, and of course, the infamous Enhorning "hump" is not there...I can show them if you're at all interested.

Monon? I’d like to see the shells you’ve mentioned…

Turns out, I  misspoke: these were also offered in the ATSF passenger scheme...
