Screwy container bottles for Lionel 3927 track cleaner car??

Never seen this question asked anywhere, and I really don't understand why? However, why in the world would the replacement bottles for the Lionel track cleaning car #3927 be SOLID, when the originals were soft containers that held cleaning fluid? Doesn't anyone make replacement containers that are soft, refillable, squeezable, -and as such would actually be USEFUL????
