Happy Weekend, Everyone,

Wanted to post a new video I took this evening as I have added another loop to my layout:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9WOj2Ctwpzw

The outer-loop is O-72, whilst the inner is O-60.  Both are connected using O-72 switches.

Legacy CAB-1L control environment, soon to be upgraded to Legacy!

I hope you all enjoy the video!

Best,

Michael

I watched your YT video, under the lights, well done operating session.

Thank you, sir!!

Lee, thanks for the comments.

I agree, I think the 72" and 60" is a great arrangement.  I'd love to add an even wider radius turn, but I simply do not have the real estate at the current time.

...the wife was kind enough to lend me our office floor space for the time being, don't want to push the envelope by adding even more track!

Just watched your video; very nice!.  Once you post your video to you tube how are the resolutions decided?   240, 360, etc ( under the settings tab).  Is it determined by the resolution that you are shooting at and then less resolutions are offered automatically?

Thank you

Can you tell us more regarding the size of your layout.

To be honest, I haven't really researched and gone over the technicals of posting videos on YouTube, specifically with regards to the resolution/etc.

That being said, all of my videos thus far have been shot with my trusty iPad 3, utilizing the YouTube Capture app.  Its relatively easy and straightforward to use.

The videos come out rather decent, and once posted on YouTube, you can toggle between the different resolutions (obviously, the better the resolution, the longer it takes to load, especially if your internet speed is lackluster, such as mine (love Time Warner )).

In term's of the layout, it is situated in our second bedroom (which I believe is about 12' by 12').  Two ovals (O-72 and O-60) run pretty much the length of the room (granted I angled the entire layout on a diagonal in order to optimize space and the length of my straight sections).

Best,

Michael
