Attached is the service and repair material prepared and assembled by the late Richard J. Luppold in the late '80's-early '90's.  Much of the material are reproductions of LIONEL's service, repair and part no. information that is typically found in the Greenberg manuals.  However, there are a couple of pages of "how to" information supplied by Mr. Luppold, particularly pages 6 and 7 of the 22 page attachment.

I was referred to Rich years ago when I needed pre-war and postwar versions of the 313 repaired after they were damaged in a move from Chicago to Atlanta.  He was a real gentleman and did a terrific job on the bridges.

As for the attachment, apologies for the occasional upside down page--easy to fix by simply rotating the image using the "view" button.

Hopefully, this information will be helpful to members of the forum.

I came very late to the 313 but I found the uploaded materials here to be indispensible in getting a working bridge from 2 incomplete units. Richard obviously put a lot of care and effort in compliling the materials and putting them into a usable form.   I did have to get a new cam arm and lift rod from the late Dennis Waldron...the only source available that I found.  Both Richard and Dennis are missed by the hobby.
