Our local Country Fairgrounds put on a showing of the Polar Express tonight at the Fairgrounds. We were asked to show the trains during the hour before the showing and as the patrons were leaving. The crowd was 'moderate' but very enthusiastic. The young children stayed glued to the tables until led to their seats for the film.

Santa was sitting and listening

Some of the antics and expressions were truly 'priceless'. One little girl (1st picture here) sported her new RR hat (we have a ready supply of children's caps for sale) and was shouting "I love trains"repeatedly.

It was a really nice evening...

Quoted from Don -  " You must have a lot of very active members."

Thanks Don. We appreciate your kind comments.

To the contrary, we operate with barely a 'skeleton crew'. The club could really use an infusion of new members who could join in the activities.  Being somewhat remote to any large metropolitan area, we have not been able to grow beyond 6 to 9 members. A couple of those live out of state and can only participate on a limited basis. Several have moved away to other cities/states  since we started and one of our founding members and chief electrician is moving to Miami soon...

New members are WELCOME!

As they say down here:  Y'all come on now!

Many thanks to YOU Mr. Willis!

When we were just starting to switch over to this type of portable layout and decided to use Fastrack, Lee graciously donated most of the Fastrack we still use today. Great guy!
