Just called and they have the 21” Diner Station Sounds 2 pack, unfortunately no 18” cars.
I think I might have swiped the last 18" heavyweight set Legacy Station had. Placed my order an hour or so ago.

I just got an e-mail from Charles Ro saying my 18" cars just shipped.

BAM, no room on the shelf! She's lucky these just fit. Also, if you look at the last 2 new cars you will see blue walls in the cars. At first I thought this was a mistake, but I looked at the original catalogue pictures and the walls seem to be there. But they look black, not blue. Are everyone else's last 2 cars the same '2227390'?

Just expand the shelf! Still waiting to receive mine from Brady's . . . supposedly they are in.
The actual Roamer and Pinehurst have blue carpets and blue ceilings . . . perhaps they were trying to model the interior closer to the real thing and make it look more elaborate as in real life?
No, the top shelf is wall to wall. Let me know what your opinion is of the blue when you get yours. Thanks.
Muffins might have a set of the 18" cars if someone is looking for them. I had a contingency pre-order with them even though they were sold out. Guess one became available, but I had already secured one from Brady's.
With the success of this initial series of the ACWR, do you think we can get some ACWR SD-40-3's or some GP-40-2's in the future? That green paint looks phenomenal!

I agree that they look great in the green and was kind of surprised not to see it in the last catalog with the GP-30's. Hopefully we will see in the next catalog or two.
The GP40s were/are wide cabs. If made maybe I could graft a nose on an F40 and get a NCDOT ex Go Transit F59 (or at least close).

I'm hopeful for these, but its not clear if there is existing tooling for either. From what I've read it seems an SD40-2 would be really close to a -3, but I don't know if anyone has made the wide cab GP-40-2s before. I was looking a kitbashing one a while ago, but haven't gotten around to it.

Absolutely agree - hopefully, an acceptable alternative can be achieved if this if of interest to Lionel. I suppose Lionel could employ something similar to what they did with the CP salute series.
Finally got my 18" cars today. They're beautiful, and I was pleasantly surprised they have figures in them!
Based on the date on the shipper (Oct 22) and fact the inside orange boxes looked like they'd been opened and resealed, they must have arrived with the wrong color and been sent back for repainting.
Now I've just got to get the first level of my layout up and running so I can see everything together.
Wow - Just Stunning. I received my 2-pack today from Mr. Muffin (always a pleasure) and these cars are beautiful.
