When the South Jersey Railroad museum was still open in Tuckahoe, and they sponsored a train show at the local community center, you could make a good day of 'training'. Go to the show in the morning, eat lunch, ride the CMRSL in a vintage RDC to Richland NJ, visit the Patcong Valley train museum during the layover, ride back to Tuckahoe, and visit the SJRR museum.

Hurricane Irene, and a severe winter storm the night before the show, wiped out the museum and the train show if I remember. Too bad. Always a good venue to look forward to during the Christmas season.

I think tracks from Tuckahoe to Cape May are still damaged from vandalism.
