I currently have about 15 O Gauge locomotives, 14 of them MTH Railking and Premier, and 1 Lionel Legacy. Over the course of the past few years, I have stored several of them in the enclosed room behind my garage. There is no heat in this room. The engines are in their original MTH boxes, never opened yet. Do I need to worry about the extreme cold affecting them. Mind you, I live in northeastern Ohio, and we do have some winter nights where the temp. drops onto the single digits. Should I be concerned about these engines when I finally do place them for use on my eventual layout ? Any thoughts out there ?
