Guys, I’ve never cared for the conspicuous spring mechanisms in PSCs cars... I understand them, but I don’t like them. I do love the fact that the end doors have floor plates and are fully operational.

Anyways, I remove the springs loads wherever possible or visible. Then, I resolder the doors in place again. This allows me to fully glaze the car without much hazzle. A few shots to illustrate...

I made Color laser transparencies of my own art I did in Adobe illustrator and used a translucent blue white behind it lit with LED sheet, it was neon white tube behind it and felt the blue white light best recreated the recollections I heard from some who I talked with that saw it living in McCook and Fort Morgan in the 1940’s. They recall the blueish glow..

Beautiful work Santiago - I look forward to your posts - they are inspirational.  Do you have a copy the Passenger Car Catalog, subtitle  PULLMAN OPERATED EQUIPMENT by Krattville Publications, date 1968.  It is long out of print and to the best of my knowledge has never been reissued.  It has 180 pages of invaluable pictures and data much of which came from the Pullman Co.  If you don't have a copy contact my by email and perhaps I can help.
