Good Morning Everyone,

I will start off today with the first house model I ever constructed. It was around this time in 1998 I built this model for my father-in-law of the house that he constructed for his family in 1967.

Let's see what you have today.

Alan your details were impeccable even then.  Avanti I followed your build and the final product is a definite hit.  I used a MTH bank to make a city terminal.  Cut a hole in the side wall and used an Ameri-towne 1st National Bank building front for the doors.  Had to make the second floor windows into doors.  Leveled the floor and printed a marble floor for it and detailed the interior.  i borrowed a technique from Alex M and used Frosty Contac Paper in the big windows on the "back" side. I didn't realize the lintel on the right half of the doorway had dropped until I took the pictures so it was too late to re-position.  I though about trying to fill it in but good luck matching the color.Christmas switchers 12-17-16 007camera download 072714 121camera download 072714 123camera download 072714 124camera download 072714 125camera download 072714 119camera download 072714 120
