Click on the triangle to access a video. These SW9s were MU'ed for 100 car coal trains. They were new to the Pittsburg and Shawmut RR 1952. The GP7 is a Pennsy hand-me-down. Road-switchers, 1,200 Hp/ea., 6,000 Hp. Turn the volume up.

This is my switcher.
MikeCT has posted two separate videos to this thread, neither of which I can view. I see only a big white blank spot in his post where I assume the video link should be.
I am using latest version of Firefox browser to access forum. Anyone else have this problem?

Here are a few of my PRR switchers:
K-Line A5 upgraded with cruise and 4-chuffs/revolution.
K-Line B6 upgraded with cruise and 4 chuffs/revolution.
Weaver C1 upgraded with cruise.
MTH SW-1 with PS-2 modified with the small pickup rollers to prevent hang up on uncoupling tracks.
All are excellent little engines that I will use in my yards (well, the C1 isn't that little). The A5 sounds like a machine gun even at slow speeds, and its great.
A MTH 0-4-0 on spotting duty.
The only switcher I have is a K-Line US Steel Plymouth which has been run a total of three times. The local D.A.R.E. Model Railroad Club has a sizeable fleet of switchers. One Lionel or K-Line Pennsy A5s, an Atlas Pennsylvania SW9, three MTH Railking Montour SW9s (two powered), a currently non-functional MTH Railking Pittsburgh Industrial Railroad SW1500, and a bunch of postwar Lionel steam and diesel switchers the club hasn't run in a while. On the On30 side, the club has one Bachmann Davenport and one Bachmann 0-4-2T.
Great pictures everyone! Once I get my train room cleaned up and My Layout running again I will post some pic's as well!
