Alex, If you don't come. we are canceling the meet.
Freddok and Mattrain,
1st York? Be prepared having comfortable walking shoes, lots of cash and/or credit cards with low balances. You are in for a rude awakening by the sheer size of York and it was larger at one time but still quite a huge meet.
Enjoy your upcoming adventure.

It’s not rude, it’s a fact of life! It will be a joyous shock to see the size of the York Meet!!

Be judicious with your use of credit cards. MOST vendors will give a discount if you write a check, and will do even better for cash (always a strong negotiating tool). That said, a few dealer vendors charge the same price regardless of payment method, in which case it pays to whip out the plastic and get the points. Bottom line - always ask before you pay.
Enjoy your first York.
Is this really still York? No DCS dinner, reduced participation by many vendors, people not attending for various reasons, etc., etc. I suspect that we will be able to add quite a lot to the "What I miss about York" post after this Spring York. I may even spend more at the Eagles store in Lancaster than at the Fairgrounds.
I'm sure that the farmers will at least make sure we know its spring by the smell of the fertilizer wafting in the general area. It does remind me of the Phillies.
And even with all of this, I know I will still have a great time. That is the real beauty of York.

I'm anxious to get there this year. It'll be a great to see happy folks having a good time again!
Might have to pack your snow shoes? We received 4 inches here of SNOW.
I hope it is warm and sunny.
I am soooo ready!!!!!!!
62 deg. today April 6th in York. That is a heat wave for us Mainers.
Wow Eddie!! It's still in the 40s here, and I am in the same state as York, though York is 250 miles away!!
Sheesh! It's looking like mid 50's for daytime temps and 60% chance of rain Wednesday through Saturday.
I guess that leaves out going to the Phillies game that Saturday!
(So that means it'll be sunny and warm!)
Yes we had 2 inches of snow last night. The few folks who went to the Pirates game must have froze.
Getting closer. I hope the weather is great all week. Were driving down on Sunday. See you all there.
Eddie....it has been really busy at work the last 6 weeks...York will be a great relaxation break for me....I can't wait!

I hope you have a safe and enjoyable trip there and back, Eddie G. And have your usual fun time at York itself.

I don't attend York but always enjoy all the reports. Some of the things I enjoyed were the comments about scrapple and funnel cakes but the last few years these have died off along with the morning parking lot cook out. What has happened?
They used to have a parking lot cookout? I would think rules and regulations, safety codes or ordinances probably nixed that. Man, it would have been great to get some stuff cooked out there last year. What was it like?

Yup you guys are going to have some decent weather. Partly cloudy and temps in the 50's. No rain in sight. Hope everyone has a great time. Looking forward to some reports.
Were almost there. Weather is not looking to great. Bring a warm coat.
