You are right, that couldn't be any cuter!!  That is just what our older daughter would have done, and still would do as she has hundreds of My Little Ponies!!  See what I was up against trying to get her interested in trains!!

This is a what  training collecting is all about. I have two young great grandsons who love to watch my layout. I even built a deck for them to stand on so they can see it better. The little girl in the first photograph is precious and the young man in the second paragraph is quite handsome.

Couldn't be cuter?  Not true!  It would be cuter with a kitten or a puppy in the photo.  For ultimate cuteness a kitten and a puppy! 

But as it stands it's pretty darn cute.

As many of you know, I'm a member of the River City 3 Railers Modular Group in the Richmond VA metro area. We support ourselves through a yearly raffle. This year we raffled off 2 sets: a Thomas set and a Pennsylvania Diesel freight set.

The 1st prize gets the complete set of their choice and a layout board decked out with indoor/outdoor carpet and some Plasticville buildings. The 2nd prize winner gets the remaining set.

The little girl who won the 1st prize chose the Thomas set. Here she is playing with her new train set. She added her My Little Ponies to the village.....So cute!

I love seeing little girls playing with O Gauge trains. 

It's in the DNA of little boys to love them which, of course, is great too.

Want to really grow the hobby? Inspire more adult women, especially the beautiful ones, to get involved!

I think watching Faith Hill playing with trains while singing Christmas carols would be even cuter. Too bad for me she's happily married to Tim McGraw!
