What is the measurement of the space between them?

You have the 1 3/8", 1 3/4", 3.0", 4.5" and 5.0" pieces available.   You'll need a combination of those to fit the space.  Sometimes you have to remove one adjacent straight piece and build it up over a longer stretch using the smaller pieces to make everything fit.

Assuming those are O-36 switches with the 11.25° pieces attached, you'll need three 1 3/8" pieces to fill the 4 1/8" (4.125") space. If you look at Jan's chart, you'll see the 4 1/8" length in the left column and then the 3 in the 1 3/8" column to the right.

And, you can also check Jan's chart to see all the track combinations that can be used to fill the total length of 24 1/8". You'll see there are well over 30 combinations to choose from.

FWIW, Jan's chart is easier to use for those of us who tend to think in terms of fractions vs decimals, but all 3 charts get the same results.
